Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK’s longest running events. Each day there are up to 40 races for more than 1,000 boats, making it the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.
Competitors range from Olympians to weekend sailors and more than 100,000 spectators come to watch the action on the water. Clipper Events offers racers, cruisers and spectators the option of chartering one or more of the ten yachts in the current Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet, or one of our three classic 60-foot yachts which have also completed four circumnavigations in the Clipper Race.
Get active on the water or soak up the atmosphere from the sidelines – the choice is yours. Or, if you don’t have time for a whole day on the water, why not charter a yacht for the Friday evening fireworks display. The Cowes display is a spectacular affair and usually lasts about half an hour, during which time they light the blue touch paper on approximately six tonnes of fireworks.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the superb charters during Cowes Week. Every little detail was looked into. I can't stress enough how good you are to work with.
The crews were great and all our customers came back on such a high. It made other guests (that had opted for our land-based package) very envious and they wished they had gone sailing. So a very big thank you all round.
